Shun Shi Quan is a rare martial art which was created over one hundred years ago by Feng Wanhe, famous bodyguard from Hebei Province.
Its core feature is stressing “smoothness” – smoothness of postures, Qi (internal energy), power.
Postures are fundaments for power releasing, Qi is the source of power release, while power is issued from waist and hips and based on the leg strength.
The style shows similarity to long fist boxing and uses variety of high kicks, long distance strikes, but at the same time emphasizes softness, using waist and whole body for striking, and share principles with internal styles, It combines slow and fast movements, hardness and softness, power releases with smooth and continuous movements.
